Summary and Personal Connection

I finished the book. In the book, Annabel faced many problems and by the end, with new friends and old ones, she realized how to solve them or look past them. She discovered that many she thought hated her, actually didn't mind her. Her sister, Whitney, started getting better, and she was talking to their other sister, Kristen, whom she had been ignoring for a long time. And her fights with her friends stopped, and she made new friends. Owen also taught her how to relax with music, and how it changes your feelings. Everyone thought Owen was a mean guy, but after Annabel got to know him, she knew he was nice and he did have anger issues, but he never showed his true anger, yet he was always honest.
I can connect to Whitney and Kristen about not talking to each other, because my brother and I used to not talk to each other when we got mad at each other, that was a long time ago, but I still remember it. But Whitney and Kristen weren't talking for about 9 months because Whitney wanted to keep her eating disorder a secret, but Kristen told their parents anyway. This helps me understand that Whitney probably wanted to talk to Kristen, but she didn't know if Kristen was mad at her, or if Kristen thought Whitey was mad at her. I know this because when my brother and I weren't talking, we would always end the silence, and then we would just carry on. Although our arguments were much shorter than nine months, I feel like I can understand how Whitney and Kristen felt.

  1. I can agree because sometimes me and my sister do the same thing. She does something and I get angry and not talk to her. But eventually we make up. How did they work it out, did Annabel help?

    1. Annabel actually didn't help, they randomly started talking to each other, and they are really close again.

  2. It is good that Annabel solved all her problems. Also, many people do not talk either when they are in a fight like Kristen and Whitney. Did you enjoy the book? Do you recommend it for anybody?
