Connection

Annabel's oldest sister, Whitney, has an eating disorder. She was barley ever hungry, and she always wanted to exercise. Some of the symptoms of eating disorders are: Refusal to maintain body weight at or above a minimally normal weight for height, body type, age, and activity level, Extreme concern with body weight and shape, and Frequent dieting. Whitney is very skinny because she is barley eating, and she is cranky. If she is always doing exercises, it is because she thinks she is too fat. The modeling has put pressure on her, and being fit and in shape took over her mind, causing her to never ear, but always exercise. The link showing this was http://www.nationaleatingdisorders.org/nedaDir/files/documents/handouts/WhatIsEd.pdf. It showed two different types of eating disorders, but there are more than those two. The author didn't say which type of disorder she had, but she goes to therapy, and is slowly gaining back weight.

  1. The post was good, and it is really stupid sometimes that even though people say that models have the life they don't. Their lives are ruined just because of the staying fit and all. Was the sister anorexic? Like did she not eat at all or what do you know the name of her disease?

    1. I think so, they didn't exactly say, but I am guessing she is anorexic.

  2. Model's really do have trouble when it comes to keeping their figure, what they do to keep it is totally up to them. Still, having an eating disorder is not the answer. It's almost disgusting, the things they do. Do you think modeling is worth the disorders?

    1. I think it's not worth the disorder, but their mom was really into it, and she wanted them to do modeling.
