“I’ll be getting something.” murmered my skating instructor.
He taught me and five other people together as a group. We were so excited about what he was going to bring us! We couldn’t stop whispering about it until he came back, with a medium sized, brown card board box. Inside the box were tiny little skates on necklace that were either green or blue see through. He gave everyone one, but when I asked he wouldn’t give me one. I asked again but nothing was being given to me. So I waited patiently and then he was done, there were absolutely no more little skates in the box! Then inside the box he unwrapped something, he held it is his hands, not showing a single speck of it.
“This is for the best skater here!” he announced as he was showing us what was in his hand.
Inside his hand was a big white skate necklace. It had a colorful chain and the skate was white with blue laces and blue shining wheels. It was gorgeous! It had a teeny, tiny black button that every time you click will change the skate to a different color, if you clicked it enough times, it would change color by itself! Two seconds later that necklace was being put around my neck!
“Thank you!” I announced with a smile bigger than Texas.
I was so proud of myself for being able to be number one in the group!
