ALL ABOUT ME!

            Hey, my name is Saumya. I was born at John F. Kennedy Medical Center on July 15^th. Did you know I have long black hair with dark brown highlights, tan skin, and dark brown eyes? Lots of people consider me as smart, friendly, and competitive. I’m known for roller skating and singing. I’m writing this letter because I want you to know me better.

           Family and friends are very important to me because I can trust them and count on them to be there for me. Mohini is my mom’s name and she works at 4-D Security Solutions which is right across from the Movie Theater and target, in her spare time she likes to play solitaire. My dad's name is Raja and he works at Kas (it is owned by his uncle) and in his spare time he likes go on the computer and look at electronics. I also have a brother named Chaitanya, he is in 11th grade and he is the best at picking out my clothes. Mary, Hadia, Priya, Prachi, Apoorva, and Annamika are my best friends. They are like family because they are there for me and are very close to me.

            It is important to have interests because they keep you busy and concentrated. I like many things but singing and roller skating are my favorite! In roller skating i do figures and in singing I got a solo and I made it in the talent show. They are  both so much fun! I like singing because you an express yours feelings and when I skate it makes me feel calm and relaxed.  I hope to continue these interests.

           It’s important to set goal for the future because then you know what to look forward to. In high school my goals are to get at least a 2100 on my SAT’s and an awesome, fabulous car! When I grow up, I want to be a doctor, so I will either go to John Hopkins or Princeton. A mansion is what I am going to live in, with a husband, and kids. Everything better be like that in the future!

           It’s important to learn about other people’s backgrounds because then we might have stuff in common. I hope everyone learned a lot about me. I am hoping this letter made it easier to understand me. You should write a letter too, and then I can learn some stuff about you!
